DVD to Assist Small Caterers and Retailers Implement Safer Food Better

The EC Regulation 852/2004 requires every food business to implement and maintain a food safety management system based on HACCP principles. The Food Standards Agency has produced a practical and flexible system, Safer Food Better Business, in the form of a user-friendly pack. SFBB helps small food businesses comply with the legal requirement.

Thousands of food businesses are already enthusiastically using the Safer Food Better Business pack to help them raise their food safety standards.

The FSA has produced a new SFBB DVD. The DVD will complement the SFBB pack by providing additional support to businesses that are implementing SFBB and training their employees in its use.

In order to make it accessible to all businesses, the DVD has voice-overs in sixteen different languages. The DVD also contains video scenes of realistic situations in small catering and retail businesses to demonstrate SFBB in action.

The DVD is free and targets managers, food handlers, trainers and local authorities.
